Quotes and pricing
Quotes from Orange Movers are free and carry no obligation. A written flat rate is based on what you tell us about your home, your belongings, and access at both addresses. If the job changes materially, an extra stop or a storage unit we weren’t told about, we agree a revised figure with you before doing the extra work.
Deposits and cancellation
A $95 deposit reserves your date and is credited against your final bill. Cancel or reschedule more than 48 hours before your arrival window and the deposit comes back in full. Inside 48 hours, it covers the crew time we’ve already set aside for you.
Payment
The balance is due when the job is complete. We accept major cards, checks, and cash. Hourly jobs bill against the written minimum: two hours Monday through Thursday, three hours Friday through Sunday.
Liability for your belongings
Every move includes released value protection at $0.60 per pound per article, the federal baseline, at no extra charge. Full-value protection is available for 1-3% of your declared value and must be arranged before move day. Claims for loss or damage must be filed within nine months of delivery, in writing, and our office will walk you through the paperwork.
What we can’t take
Hazardous materials, perishables, and anything Texas law keeps out of a moving truck stay with you. Not sure about a specific item? Ask the office before move day.
Our on-time commitment
Your quote states a one-hour arrival window. For every full hour our crew arrives past it, $25 comes off your bill. Storms that close Houston roads are the one exception, and we’ll be on the phone with you early if that’s brewing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs to the courts of Harris County, TX.
